Groundwork On Changes to Registration Requirements

A memo issued past the Arizona Department of Transportation, Motor Vehicle Segmentation dated September 5, 2012, outlined the policy changes that affect vehicles that are exempt from registration, and clarified requirements for a title only transaction.

Title 28, Chapter seven states that "every motor vehicle, trailer or semitrailer that is operated, moved or left standing on any highway in the State must exist registered for the current year."
